National Trails Day 2022 – Event Canceled

Join us on Saturday June 4th for a day of volunteering. We will meet at the Cold Creek Day Use area. Google Maps works from Vancouver to Cold Creek Campground, then continue downhill to the Day Use Area. Full directions will be provided after you have signed up.

CTA Pick Up The Burn 2022

Join Chinook Trail Association for the annual Pick Up The Burn in the Yacolt Burn State Forest. We will meet, pick up trash, and deposit it into a DNR provided dumpster.

Battle Ground Lake Work Party

Back Country Horsemen of Washington and Washington Trail Riders Association are doing some spring cleaning. We will be meeting Saturday March 12th at the Horse Camp which is on the north end of Battle Ground Lake State Park. The entrance is on 259th Street.

The safety meeting will be at 9am with work to start soon after. We will be adding gravel to the trails, trimming back brush and blackberries, Cleaning waterbars and anything else that we see needs work.
We are in need of individuals with tools for cutting back the overgrowth on the inner trails. (weed trimmers, loppers, pole saws, etc)
