National Trails Day 2023

Join us on Saturday June 3rd for a day of volunteering. Help us maintain our area trails. We will be providing sandwiches and soft drinks for lunch.

Please let us know if you will be staying for lunch.

We are joining Back Country Horsemen of Washington, Mount St. Helens Chapter at Kalama Horse Camp.

Saturday, June 3-Sunday 4, 2023. You can stay for either or both days.

Campsites reserved Friday-Sunday and assigned at check-in.

If you’re not feeling well on the day of the work party please stay home and take care of yourself. We are volunteers and there are no work quotas.



Bluff Mountain – Silver Star

(FULL) This is a shorter backcountry trip in partnership with Washington Trails Association.
You must register for this trip on the WTA website and this work party may fill up early. Register Here
You will hike in with your tools and all your camping gear and spend two nights near the iconic Silver Star summit, then work east from there to intercept the work our crews started last year.



Pick Up The Burn 2023

Join Chinook Trail Association for the annual Pick Up The Burn in the Yacolt Burn State Forest. We will meet, pick up trash, and deposit it into a DNR provided dumpster. After registration at Jones Creek we will be working in the Cold Creek area then heading back over to Jones Creek Trailhead for lunch provided by Washington DNR.

Rock Creek Horse Camp Work Party

We will meet at the Rock Creek Horse Camp and be working at and around the camp. Coffee and snacks before and lunch after. We will be spreading gravel and installing non-skid surfaces on bridges. Contact Barb Thomas to RSVP at pineywoman1@aol.com



Earth Day – Friday April 22, 2022

Join us on Friday, April 22nd at 8:30am for a day of volunteering on the Ellen Davis Trail. We will meet near the Ross Substation in Vancouver. Full directions will be provided after you have signed up.
