BCHW Rock Creek Horse Camp Work Party

We will meet with BCHW at the Rock Creek Horse Camp and be working at and around the camp. BCHW provides coffee and snacks before and a lunch after. Tools will be provided. Sturdy boots covering your ankles and gloves are required.

We will be spreading gravel, cleaning up winter storm damage, and installing metal corrals.

National Public Lands Day 2023

Join CTA as we celebrate National Public Lands Day Sat, Sep 23, 2023 8:30am to 1:30pm.

We will be brushing and adding some drain dips to the Chinook Trail above the Tarbell Trail. We will be working behind a locked gate so you won’t be able to leave early. We will work until about 12:30 and then drive back to the Tarbell Trailhead for lunch. RSVP for directions.

A Washington Discover pass is required to park.

Chinook Trail Treadwork #2

Join us on Tuesday May 30th for a day of volunteering. Help us maintain the Chinook Trail.

We will be working above the Tarbell Trail on the Chinook Trail in an area with beautiful views to the Columbia River and beyond. The general area is between the Tarbell Trailhead and Ed’s Trail Trailhead. There is brushing and treadwork to be done.

We supply all the tools.

Join us on Saturday June 3rd for a day of volunteering. Help us maintain our area trails. We will be providing sandwiches and soft drinks for lunch.

Please let us know if you will be staying for lunch.

We are joining Back Country Horsemen of Washington, Mount St. Helens Chapter at Kalama Horse Camp.

Saturday, June 3-Sunday 4, 2023. You can stay for either or both days.

Campsites reserved Friday-Sunday and assigned at check-in.
